Khaudum April 2013 (The title is a bit misleading because we went to Botswana and stayed along the delta before going to Khaudum and after Khaudum we went to the Waterberge in Namibia.)

Once again, surprise - surprise, we were invited to join friends on a tour to Botswana and Namibia.

A magic tour it was where we visited some places we had been to before and some new places.

This time we actually took fewer pictures as the reason for taking the pictures is to remind us where we have been and we already have quite a few pictures of the area.

Below are a number of snaps which we took. The first four pictures are out of sequence where the fourth could be very special to those who know what the bird is. If you have no idea what it is never mind maybe you will like another picture instead. So far we have seen one every time we have been in the area.

I found the lovely stick insect under our vehicle when we filled up with fuel. Unfortunately it had lost a leg but otherwise seemed fine. I placed it on a nearby tree when we left.

In Tsoledo Hills we saw an interesting piece of rock art in that there appears to be a whale and a penguin. The reason given that the people were nomadic and had been to the coast.

I could bore you with a blow by blow visit of where we went but decided any further delays in posting could make the post irrelevant.
